Mouse-Box… A Computer Inside A Mouse

News broke today of a company in Poland that is developing a mouse that is also a computer.  The yet to be released device will be running a quad core 1.4GHz ARM CORTEX processor, have WiFi, a 128GB disk, and use inductive charging.   The device is still in the prototyping stage but watch Protocol46 for a hardware review as soon as one becomes available.

The company is currently looking for interest in the device and potential funding.  Mouse-Box has put together a great video that shows the potential uses and capabilities of this super-charged mouse.

A close up of what the bad boy will look like.  They are showing it with two USB 3.0 ports as well as the mico-HDMI connector.

It will be interesting to see if this device can be used for pen testing.  Protocol46 Labs has already built and tested several pen testing systems that use the ARM architecture and look forward to what this device can offer.

Mouse-Box is looking for your help.  As stated they are currently deep into the prototyping phase of development.  Mouse-Box has an all call out for anyone that can, “…support us with your knowledge and imporve this project.  If you own a firm or work in a firm which appreciates our achievement and can help us to reach our final goal, we kindly ask you to contact us. Don’t wait, get in touch with us right away!”
